Wisdom Sermon Illustrations

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. So says the book of Proverbs. In the book of James we find the additional instruction that anyone who lacks wisdom can simply ask God, because God is generous, and gives liberally (generously) to all who ask. God is, after all, the author and creator of all knowledge and wisdom!
